Outer Banks Swinging Mullets Add Pitcher Alexander Blackmon to 2026 Roster

The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets have announced the addition of Alexander “Alex” Blackmon, a pitcher from Brewton-Parker Christian University, to their roster for the upcoming 2026 summer collegiate baseball season.
Blackmon, a freshman from Guyton, Georgia, competes for the Barons baseball program in the NAIA’s Southern States Athletic Conference. He joins the Swinging Mullets after earning High School Athlete of the Year honors during his prep career, a reflection of his all-around athletic ability, work ethic, and competitive drive.
Prior to Brewton-Parker Christian University, Blackmon also spent time developing at Gordon State College, continuing to refine his skills on the mound. Known for his dedication and poise, he brings depth and energy to the Swinging Mullets pitching staff as he gains valuable experience against summer collegiate competition.
“Alex is a hardworking competitor who takes pride in his development,” said Mikey Reynolds, Head Coach of the Outer Banks Swinging Mullets. “He’s earned everything he’s gotten so far, and we’re excited to see how he continues to grow and contribute this summer.”
Blackmon joins a growing roster of collegiate athletes preparing to compete in the Old North State League (ONSL), where the Swinging Mullets face teams from across the region in a highly competitive summer schedule.
