The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets are pleased to announce the addition of Braedyn Clinton, a center fielder from Widener University, to the team’s 2026 summer collegiate baseball roster.
Clinton, a sophomore outfielder from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, represents a dynamic presence in the outfield and at the plate. Listed at 6’0” and 175 pounds, the right-handed hitter and thrower brings athleticism, instinctive defense, and offensive potential to the Mullets lineup.
During his collegiate career at Widener, Clinton has contributed amidst strong competition in NCAA Division III play, recording hits and impacting games in key moments for the Pride.
Prior to college, Braedyn enjoyed a decorated high school career at Franklin Towne Charter High School, where he was a two-time Northeast Times Player of the Year, three-time First Team All-Public selection, and earned MVP honors, highlighting both his offensive production and influence as a leader on the field.
“We’re excited to add Braedyn to our roster,” said Mikey Reynolds, Head Coach of the Outer Banks Swinging Mullets. “He’s shown the ability to contribute both offensively and defensively, and his confidence and versatility will be a great asset for us this summer.”
The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets compete in the Old North State League (ONSL) and play home games at First Flight High School’s Baseball Complex, providing fans with a competitive, community-centered baseball experience throughout the summer.
