Outer Banks Swinging Mullets Add Outfielder Gabe Kelly to 2026 Roster

The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets are excited to announce the addition of outfielder Gabe Kelly from Lenoir Community College to the team’s 2026 summer collegiate roster.

Kelly, a 6’0”, 210-pound right-handed hitter and thrower, brings strength and offensive production to the Mullets lineup. A former All-Region honoree in high school, Kelly carried that success into his collegiate career, recently opening his season batting .391 with three doubles and a home run.

His combination of power, consistency, and confidence at the plate makes him a valuable addition to the 2026 roster.

“Gabe is swinging the bat with confidence right now,” said Head Coach Mikey Reynolds. “He’s a physical player who can impact the game offensively and defensively. We’re excited about what he’ll bring to the Outer Banks this summer.”

The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets compete in the Old North State League (ONSL) and play home games at First Flight High School’s Baseball Complex, providing fans with a competitive, community-focused baseball experience throughout the summer.
