Outer Banks Swinging Mullets Add Tiffin Infielder Julian Hernandez to 2026 Roster

The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets have announced the addition of infielder Julian Hernandez from Tiffin University to the team’s 2026 summer collegiate roster.
Hernandez, a 5’9”, 170-pound infielder, bats and throws right-handed and brings the ability to play second base, shortstop, and third base. His versatility provides valuable depth across the infield heading into the upcoming summer season.
Before college, Hernandez earned All-State honors during his senior year of high school, highlighting his impact and consistency as a standout player.
“Julian’s versatility is a big asset,” said Head Coach Mikey Reynolds. “He’s the type of player who can step into multiple roles and compete. That flexibility and work ethic are important for summer baseball.”
At Tiffin University, Hernandez continues to refine his game against collegiate competition while preparing for a strong summer campaign in the Old North State League (ONSL).
The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets compete in the ONSL and play home games at First Flight High School’s Baseball Complex, offering fans a family-friendly and high-level collegiate baseball experience throughout the summer.
