Outer Banks Swinging Mullets Add RHP Kaleb Smith to 2026 Pitching Staff

The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets continue to strengthen their pitching staff for the 2026 season with the addition of right-handed pitcher Kaleb Smith from Belhaven University.
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Smith recently completed his sophomore season with the Blazers after a strong spring in which he logged 39.2 innings of work against competitive collegiate opponents. Standing at 5’11”, he brings a competitive approach to the mound along with the ability to attack hitters and provide valuable depth in multiple pitching roles.
A graduate of C.E. Byrd High School, Smith has continued to develop at the collegiate level, earning experience that has shaped him into a dependable and versatile arm. His work ethic and consistent improvement have been key to his progression throughout his college career.
“Kaleb brings a competitive edge on the mound and a strong desire to keep improving,” said Outer Banks Swinging Mullets Head Coach Mikey Reynolds. “We’re excited to add him to our staff this summer.”
Smith joins a growing group of collegiate talent set to represent the Swinging Mullets this summer as the organization continues its commitment to player development and competitive baseball throughout the Outer Banks community.
The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets compete in the Old North State League (ONSL) and play home games at First Flight High School’s Baseball Complex, providing fans with a fun, affordable, and family-friendly summer baseball experience on the Outer Banks.
