Outer Banks Swinging Mullets Add Left-Handed Pitcher Kenny Wright to 2026 Roster

The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets have announced the addition of left-handed pitcher Kenny Wright from Lawrence Technological University to the team’s 2026 summer collegiate roster.
Wright, listed at 6’3” and 210 pounds, is a left-handed pitcher who also bats switch, bringing an uncommon mix of athleticism and versatility to the mound. A native of Fenton, Michigan and a graduate of Lake Fenton High School, Wright has continued developing at Lawrence Tech while competing in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
During his freshman season in 2023, Wright delivered a strong workload for the Blue Devils, recording 51.2 innings pitched, 40 strikeouts, and four wins. He has also made key appearances in competitive games, including outings where he opened contests for Lawrence Tech and set the tone early on the mound.
“Kenny brings size, left-handed presence, and real college experience to our staff,” said Mikey Reynolds, Head Coach of the Outer Banks Swinging Mullets. “He’s competed in meaningful innings and we’re excited to get him to the OBX and put him in a great environment to keep developing.”
The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets compete in the Old North State League (ONSL) and play home games at First Flight High School’s Baseball Complex, providing fans with a fun, affordable, family-friendly summer baseball experience.
