Outer Banks Swinging Mullets Add Ferrum College Infielder Smith Dickinson to 2026 Roster

The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets have announced the addition of Smith Dickinson, an infielder from Ferrum College, to the team’s roster for the upcoming 2026 summer collegiate season.
Dickinson is a Raleigh, North Carolina native and a Millbrook High School graduate who plays in the middle infield. Currently a freshman at Ferrum, he is listed on the Panthers’ roster as an infielder and continues to develop as a versatile, competitive presence on both sides of the ball.
In addition to his defensive tools, Dickinson has already made noise at the collegiate level — including a three-run home run in Ferrum’s Conference Carolinas opener at Erskine (Feb. 13, 2026).
“Smith plays the game with confidence and instinct. He’s a true middle infielder with quickness, range, and the kind of competitiveness that shows up when the moment gets big,” says Head Coach Mikey Reynolds.
The Outer Banks Swinging Mullets compete in the Old North State League (ONSL) and play home games at First Flight High School’s Baseball Complex, delivering high-level summer baseball in a fun, affordable, family-friendly setting.
